I really love my new program, played on the Swiss santur, alias the Appenzeller Hackbrett:
Neo Oriental Minimal Music Improvisations (NOMMI),
atmospherical listening music
Sunday 6th june, 14-17.30h
Mystical Fair Gogh, Germany
Sat/Sunday 28/29th august, time tba
Festival Franje Amersfoort
I play the NOMMI at galleries and art events, spiritual gatherings, in concert places, etcetera. It is so nice exploring moods and varying in riffs, melody quotes , rhythms, monotonies and taxims. Creating a nice flow and not playing songs. Getting lost in my own experiments, enjoying the grooves and cadences...
Listening: put cursor on picture and hold it there for a while...
On this page you hear a NOMMI played on my Hungarian cimbalom. This is how it all started.
On page 8 you here a NOMMI played on the Appenzeller hackbrett.
