Klezmer: guest at other bands
This year I was guest cimbalist of the marvellous Trio Ctotdederde. We played at the Intercultureel Theehuis at Kargadoor, Oudegracht Utrecht and at the Paaskerk Baarn.
For two year I played cimbalom with German-British klarinettist Emma Stiman in her new band Queen Esther Klezmer Trio.
Various times I was a substitute (for the accordeon) at the Shtetl Band Amsterdam.
Klezmer: Di Fidl Kapelye
Di
Fidl Kapelye played a marvellous seven years of authentic string
klezmer music. We had concerts, workshops and gatherings at all kind of
events in various countries. We played in The Netherlands, Germany,
Austria, France, Poland, the United States and Canada.
One
of its most memorable gigs was a concert in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam
in february 09, with our special guest Stuart Brotman, from California. (Brave Old World, Veretski Pass).

Review quote:
"As a tsimbler I was interested to hear Pit Hermans and was
enchanted. She has her own sound and touch, moving effortlessly among the
patterns and chords, fills, echos, and leads. She also pulled off one of those
intense Moskowitz solo tunes - again, not like Moskowitz, but in her own
distinct style."
